About Samuel Worley
Began his career as an Assistant State's Attorney and is now a seasoned trial attorney specializing in Criminal and Family Law and representing Chicago Police Officers.
Attorney J. Samuel Worley specializes in Matrimonial and Family Law, State and Municipal Administrative Hearings. Prior to joining the law firm of Grace & Thompson, Mr. Worley was the owner of the Law Offices of J. Samuel Worley, LLC where he specialized for approximately ten years in Matrimonial and Family law, State and Municipal Administrative hearings, and criminal defense. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Worley worked as a felony prosecutor for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. Mr. Worley prosecuted hundreds of cases working closely with the twenty-eight police departments and municipalities. With over seventeen years of experience, Mr. Worley provides his clients with experience, knowledge, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.
Mr. Worley earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his Masters of Science Degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. Mr. Worley worked for a decade as a therapist and program director in the areas of violence prevention, conflict resolution and domestic and family violence in Nashville, TN, before relocating to Chicago to attend law school. Mr. Worley earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from the John Marshall Law School. While attending law school, Mr. Worley served as a member of the John Marshall Law School Moot Court Executive Board.
