Marc E. Gottreich
Marc Gottreich is a founding partner of the law firm of Gottreich, Grace and Thompson. Marc grew up and attended Law School in Chicago. After five years in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office prosecuting felony criminal cases, he opened the practice with Timothy Grace.
Over the last 15 years, Marc has defended countless people charged with all levels of crimes in Cook, the surrounding counties, and Federal Court. Marc has tried more than 100 juries in his career.

Timothy M. Grace
Timothy Grace began his legal career working for the Law Office of Joseph V. Roddy representing individuals in civil and criminal litigation, including representing Chicago Police Officers. He then went on to become an Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney, prosecuting criminal misdemeanor and felony cases. In 2001, he started the firm of Gottreich & Grace, fighting for the rights of people accused of misdemeanor and felony crimes. In addition to criminal litigation, Tim has dedicated a portion of his practice to real estate and general civil litigation. Tim has tried over 500 bench trials in state and federal court. Additionally, Tim has tried over forty felony jury trials, of which half have been for first degree murder. Tim has also attained numerous large personal injury settlements for his clients.

James Thompson began his legal career as an Assistant State’s Attorney and an Assistant Attorney General. James spent much of his career litigating for Chicago Police Officers and municipal employees in civil, criminal and administrative proceedings while working for the Law Office of Joseph V. Roddy. James currently focuses his practice in personal injury law, civil litigation, administrative law and real estate. James is a father of three and resides in Chicago. He has successfully represented on behalf of Chicago Police Officers and attained settlements in excess of several million dollars throughout the course of his career.
